From a young age I loved being surrounded by wildflowers and the countryside. Living in the countryside has had a big influence on my relationship with nature. This was my inspiration throughout my degree and into my design work as an artist of botanical plaster cast designs.

I design and make my pieces using the medium of plaster cast. I enjoy the way the shape and form of the plants and flowers are captured in such detail. The composition is key with intricate plants winding their way around flowers as they would in the hedgerow or meadow.

Whether it be working with wildflowers from the meadow or my garden, using sea life plants or unusual flowers from a florist ,I adore working to develop unique and decorative art work to adorn the home. I also work on commission pieces with the most recent being a Michelin star restaurant at Oxwich Bay. and Gorse restaurant , Pontcanna ,
